Job purpose

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our CI/CD technologies to build, deploy, and automate all maintenance and infrastructure tasks. You will work closely with our Software Engineers and Operations teams to ensure high availability and deliver high-quality services to external and internal customers in a secure way. You will also be responsible for bringing new ideas and technologies to the table and taking ownership of the projects you will follow. 

Duties and responsibilities

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Deliver high quality services to external and internal customers, in a secure way, and always striving to achieve the highest level of reliability

• Lead the development and implementation of our CI/CD technologies to build, deploy, and automate all maintenance and infrastructure tasks

• Implement proactive monitoring techniques to use resources efficiently and ensure high availability.

• Deliver high-quality services to external and internal customers in a secure way

• Bring new ideas and technologies to the table and take ownership of the projects you will follow

• Collaborate with Software Engineers and Operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of systems

• Develop and maintain automation tools to streamline processes

• Ensure high standards of security, availability, scalability, and performance for all systems

• Part of the business project to move to the new modern platform
• Owning Infrastructure based on Azure, working closely with Microsoft to build state of the art Infrastructure

Must have

Technical Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science discipline, University degree is preferable
• Strong team player mindset as well as very good communication skills
• Open-minded, proactive and not afraid to challenges
• Excellent Azure stack Knowledge.
• Experience Mongo, Postgres Database
• Ready to bring new ideas, technologies with a great sense of ownership of the projects you will follow
• Automation, quality and security are three faces of the same coin for you
• Strong Experience in the IaaS, PaaS (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Packer, …) as well as in the CI/CD stack (e.g., Azure DevOps,…) and especially on the Azure stack 
• Excellent knowledge of Python and/or PowerShell/Bash for everything that is related to scripting automation
• Strong experience in microservices architecture, management and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, …)
• Excellent knowledge of the gitops and secops paradigms
• Excellent knowledge of source control (e.g., Git and TFVC)

Soft Skills 

• Fluent in English
• All other languages are a plus
• Strong team player mindset as well as very good communication skills
• Open-minded, proactive and not afraid to challenges
• Ready to bring new ideas, technologies with a great sense of ownership of the projects you will follow

Nice to have

• Knowledge in building and packaging .NET Core applications
• Knowledge in monitoring systems (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Graphana) 
• Knowledge of SQL query language (and Transact-SQL)
• Knowledgeable about Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server and Linux as well
